AER

air / [er] // noun 1. An impression of a quality or manner given by someone or something.

We designed AER last year at a workshop in Queretaro, Mexico. This project was an exercise in: brand building, industrial design, and story telling.

AER is a stool inspired by the promises we make to each others. Its about commitment, about being a man/woman of your own words.  It's designed around a Vietnamese saying (translated) "sit on your own words." The design is simple. You inflate your stool by blowing into the nozzle labelled "promise" The stool is engineered to deflate in 30 days. Each time you sit on the stool you are reminded of the promises you made, and to keep your words. You make a new promise every 30 days.
